This series covers the management of Crown land leases and licences in the Waikato and Coromandel areas (South Auckland land district) administered under the Lands Act 1924 and 1948. These files contain information on the terms and conditions of tenure, and also considerable detail on the land (etc) subject to that tenure.

Hamilton Education Salary Cards Hamilton District Office and 1930 – 83
These cards documented the salaries or records of payment for staff of the Hamilton Education Board. The series was created in 1953 when the Hamilton Education Board was established. Staff employed before that time had their cards transferred from the Auckland Education Board. In 1989 the Education Board was disestablished and the records were sent to Educorp Services (New Zealand) Limited. Staff members include teachers, groundsmen, office staff, librarians, part time teachers, night school staff , caretakers etc.
