More than 6.8 million records can be accessed through Missouri Digital Heritage, including the collections of the Missouri State Archives, the Missouri State Library and more than 50 institutions from across the state. 

I found James L CUMPSTON here who died in Jackson County  in Kansas City.  He was born on 18th March 1865 in Illinois.  He was 45 years old at death.  His father was Leroy CUMPSTON.  James died of carcinoma of his stomach.  His mother was Ann E Tagardew born in Ohio.  The informant was his father.  Registration District 399 file no 27381

I also found Rachael A CUMPSTON who died in St Louis at 5046a Cates Avenue.  Her husband was Frank C CUMPSTON.  She was born February 23 1847 and died aged 90 years.  She was a housewife and was born at Jeffersonville Ohio.  Her father was Philip Creamer born in Virginia.  Her mother was Margaret Morrison born in Wales UK.  Registration district 791 file no 26094.
