Lancashire County Council Library – on line resources

The Online Reference Library (OnRL) is Lancashire’s Gateway to Information. It contains theirPremier Choice subscription sites and the Website Gateway. Premier Choice sites include well known resources such as Oxford English Dictionary, Grove Music , Encyclopaedia Britannica, Kompass and Who’s Who, as well as the full text national newspaper site NewsBank. Lancashire County Council has paid for the subscription so you don’t have to and gives you 24 hour access from any internet connection. The Website Gateway consists of links to 100’s of sites chosen, organised and described by professional librarians that you can either search directly or by browse through category headings.
