Albert Edward COMPSON / Ellen HESTON

In July 2010 I heard from Amanda Kershaw  amanda.ironmonger@btinternet.com who wrote:

‘Had a look at your sight and how fantastic and interesting. My great grandmother was Ellen Compson who was one of two children born to Albert Edward Compson and Ellen Heston. Albert was the son of Ellen Smith and William Frederick Compson.

Albert and his wife married in Stourbridge and had both children there. They moved to Salford, Lancashire around 1898/1889 and can be found on the 1901 census there. My grandad always told me that his grandfather Albert had come to Salford for work and the family ended up staying there. ‘  You can read more about this family at www.cumpston.org.uk/john-compson-ann-partridge/4538905829

Does anyone have further information?
