Wynne’s Diary….Wynne kept a diary from 1895 until 1931…a total of 30 volumes.  Not all the diaries are online but those that are can be accessed through the timeline at the top of this page  http://www.wynnesdiary.com/diary_layout/wynneframeset.html

These diaries are most interesting to read.  There are the diaries themselves written exactly day to day and then sometimes biographical notes to explain them.  Her diaries give an insight into life in England in early 1900s.  In the early diaries, Wynne wrote about some of the dresses she had made…and she remained interested in clothes, though as the years passed she began to regard the latest fashions with some amusement, and started cutting them out of fashion plates and sticking them into her diaries, often accompanied by comments like: “here are freaks!”
