There is an excellent website you can search at http://www.1820settlers.com/modules.php?name=Genealogy

There were no sign of any CUMPSTONs but about 4,000 British settlers arrived in the Eastern Cape of South Africa between April and June 1820 and Paul has developed this totally free website, dedicated to these settlers, their descendants and researchers.
