| Sara Cummins Cumpston, 70, of Waynesburg, R. D. 3, died at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, March 28, 1993, in her home, following a long illness. She was born September 17, 1922, in Whiteley Township, a daughter of Charles C. and Neva Rose Cummins. Mrs. Cumpston lived her early life in Greene County and resided in Coraopolis for 35 years. For the past year, she lived in Waynesburg. She was a 1940 graduate of Waynesburg High School and a member of Alliance Community Church in McKees Rocks. She was employed for several years by Rofflers Hair Products in Coraopolis. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Claude R. Cumpston, died January 14, 1986.She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Edward (Carol) Ganoe of Coraopolis; three sons, Jack Cumpston of Claysville, Richard Cumpston of Burgettstown and John (Bill) Cumpston of Butler; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Helen C. Shriver and Mrs. Jane Eisiminger, both of Waynesburg R. D. 3; and a brother, Paul V. Cummins of Mt. Morris Star Route.Deceased are a son, Samuel Cumpston; a sister, Mary Ellen Atkinson; and a brother, Charles R. Cummins.
