West Cemetery, Darlington, England

Darlington Historical Society is currently recording West Cemetery and the results so far can be viewed on
www.communigate.co.uk/ne/darlingtonhistoricalsociety

Click on West Cemetery Headstones at the left of the Home page. There are plans of the cemetery to help you locate your ancestor’s grave, and the names are indexed alphabetically. The full inscription is given including verses and quotations.
The headstones date from the early Victorian period, as West Cemetery was one of the first to be established. So you may well find an ancestor sleeping peacefully in West Cemetery. The burials are not included on the NBI.Thanks to Christine Jemmerson from the Upper Dales Family History Group for this link
