Today I heard from Jennifer Compson Yoneji yoneji@bresnan.net about her COMPSON relatives.
Jennifer asked if Compson is a corrupted form of Cumpston. Her father’s name is John Edward Compson. His father was George Compson; his father was Noah Compson.
