My colleague Janet Higman kindly found two deed entries for me from the Freehold Deeds of Howden and District 1736-1895 from the East Yorkshire Family History Society.
They refer to the Rev. George CUMPSTONE of Howden, Clerk and John CUMPSTONE of Howden surgeoun and apothecary. You can read more about them on my website at
