’You’ve got a will from this lady in 1833. I wonder if you know anything about her roots, please ? I suspect she’s a distant (Rogers) relative of mine, and I was wondering whether you knew anything else about her.’
I replied as follows: you will see under the Shropshire pages that I have quite a lot of data on this family but I can’t tie her in yet. It would be really helpful if you could tell me a little more about your own ancestry to see if we can work together to solve the connection. It is clear that her brother was Richard Rogers.
